Vertical Farming

A New Solution for a Planet Scarce in Resources

Traditional agricultural practices consume over a third of global ice free land and 8 % of global water while producing over 18% of greenhouse gases. Additionally, more effort has been dedicated towards biodiversity in reforestation to counter the environmental crisis faced by our planet. This would reduce land used for agriculture and the need to feed billions of people would be challenging. Vertical farming has come to disrupt the status-quo to produce the food we need responsibly, sustainably, and affordably. For the same crop yield of conventional practices, vertical farming can produce the same yield at 1% the land and water consumption of current traditional approaches. Vertical farming represent a better and more sustainable way of producing vegetables and fruits with advantages including year-round production, better use of space, less resource waste, reduced transportation and labour costs

Automated Growth Systems

Such technologies offer automation options for enhanced throughput and reliability. Automated seeder spreads a bed of seed onto the level. Fine mist of water is sprayed from above to initiate growth through robotic arms. Automated drip irrigation system feeds and cools the roots as they grow. To act as a light source, automated LED lighting system on each level cycles on and off. Fresh green feed is harvested and cut to size, ready to be blended with a feed ration or fed directly to livestock or packaging. With commercial scales, an automated indoor climate-controlled environment provides consistent and high-quality crops of fresh feed that can be grown year-round.

Customized Crop Systems

Control your greenhouse and its technology from anywhere. Our tools monitor and manage the nutrient-enriched water, humidity, air temperature, Oxygen and CO₂ levels of each plant tower. This provides a unique 'microclimate' approach to customize and automate your growing environment and schedules by crop type. It also enables a wide variety of crop sizes and densities for the same species, based on grower's request. With this system, there is virtual zero food waste and versatility of your crops and crop densities can be maximized for ultimate productivity and efficiency. Such systems are fitted with sensors, manipulators and imaging systems where one can control from your phones or remotely through apps.

Urban Agriculture

Providing vertical farming to cities, suburbs and remote areas improves local food accessibility, city resilience and economic growth. We help cities around the world grow large amounts of food with locally placed greenhouses equipped with sustainable vertical farming technology. With urban populations on the rise and an unreliable food system and supply chain, you need to find a more sustainable and safer way to grow and distribute food to your community. Address food accessibility by equipping schools, community centers, shelters, corporations, and universities with their own indoor farming systems that efficiently scale to keep costs and food prices down.

Grow Locally, Sustainably and with zero Pesticides under closed-loop vertical farming
